The good folks at Refresh Events are planning a whirlwind event to take place in Jul 2010. To prepare for relevant sponsorhip for the event, they are collecting community data for digital media professionals, since the collective local data is still largely unknown.
They’ve wondered:
Why is it that we know so much about the behavior of Internet users in Canada, but know so little about those employed in the digital media industry in our own backyard? Where’s the disconnect? Is there a lack of funding? Are there not enough people dedicated to the task? Do we not know how to effectively measure the size of our industry?
The best way to tackle this was to jump right in and create a survey – and you can help! Please help out with less than 10mins of your time to complete this anonymous survey and we’ll all get a great insight into the digital media professionals of our own city. More details about the survey are posted on the Refresh Events blog.
The data will be available at a later date, and we’ll be sure to post results.
